If you are interested in developing an online course or online course materials to support your regular classes please review the Course Approval process in advance of beginning your online course project plan.

Online education is not new to UCSC but the groundswell of interest in online education has grown this year with the introduction of the MOOC. Coursera, Udacity, and edX have been covered widely in the media and have generated a great deal of discussion on college campuses acround the world.
